1st Hole - Castle Leod

Number Name White Yards Par S.I. Red Yards Par S.I.
1 Castle Leod 330 4 14 252 4 14

This hole is considered to be one of the most sporting in golf, despite being a modest 330 yards in length. That's because the drive from tee to green features the longest drop on any course in Scotland.

The ideal position is left of the mound to allow a clear pitch to the green.

There is "Out of bounds" all the way down the right and behind the green.
